    IH 424 three point lift

    INCase, I’ve done allot of digging, so I know that plug is the hydraulic. Everyone says to drain through suction tube. This picture shows my fill plug on top, but isn’t that a drain plug next to hitch pin?

    I open the top mount plug on the very back of the tractor behind the seat and between the lift arms, just above the overflow plug that’s about 6” below. That is the differential , correct?

    I added fluid to the differential… forgot to remove the overflow plug and put in about a gallon and a half too much fluid. Realized my mistake, drained excess out through overflow plug. Cranked tractor and lift will not work now…. Nothing. What did I do and how do I fix it?

    conversion kit

    I have a IH 424 with points and condenser. Is it better to change this to an electronic system or stay with the original system. I am at a point where i either have to tune this tractor up or convert it. Thanks for any help.

    How do I know if my tractor has a magneto? Also, where do i find the part number on the distributor?
