Help ID debris on drain plug magnet

PTO takes about two seconds to fully engage, so feathering action seems good. It might be slipping though. I hit a ditch and could hear the mower slow down quite a bit, but engine rpm didn't drop. Could be the belts but I figure that'd make some noise. I do think dual power feels a bit...

Help ID debris on drain plug magnet

Okay so dual power must be good then, thanks. Figured the abrupt shifting might be a symptom if the feathering spring went missing. I reckon it's probably a smoother experience under high load, which just never happens here.

Just noticed the dual power clutch uses the same spring: #34 here I guess it could be that too then. Is the powershift supposed to shift smoothly? Because on mine it very much doesn't.

Help ID debris on drain plug magnet

I always just yanked the handle right up, and as I recall it always engaged smoothly. I'll pay better attention to what it does next time I use it. For now I guess all I can do is fill it back up. Hopefully there won't be more of those pieces floating around.

Help ID debris on drain plug magnet

I like that scenario better, thanks :) So without this spring there wouldnt be any pressure on the plates, and the whole clutch just wouldn't engage, is that right? I did see this spring is sold on the store page here: https://www.yesterdaystractors.com/Ford-7000_Spring_D3NNP733A.html...

Help ID debris on drain plug magnet

Thanks! It does look a bit wavy so that might be it. What does it do though? I haven't noticed any issues with the PTO. Maybe the rest of that spring is still in place somehow.

Help ID debris on drain plug magnet

Drained the hydraulic oil on my 7600 today. The middle plug had a magnet with this fairly sizable chunk attached to it. It's about 2.7mm thick, original diameter was approx 127mm or 5". Faces are smooth, edges rough. Any ideas what it might have been? Hope it wasn't too important...

Sent you an email earlier, don't know if you got that. I did enable email in my profile so you should be able to contact me too.

    7600 electrical wiring

I would've sent a link to my personal web server but it seems private messages don't work on this board. I see you used imgur before, that should be fine. I think the limit is 5MB there.

Alright, will replace those then. Am I right in assuming there's coolant behind the temp sender? That does look very similar, thanks! Let me know if you need a link to upload larger pictures.

    7600 electrical wiring

https://forums.yesterdaystractors.com/viewtopic.php?p=8926937 Is this the same diagram? If so that also looks very different, unfortunately. Maybe the wiring for an x600 with cab would be more similar. Re: that cable, it has to be for the brake light switch. One wire gets 12V, the...

    7600 electrical wiring

Thanks, had a look today. Unfortunately none of those colors seem to match with what I have here. Thanks anyway though, I do appreciate it!

    7600 electrical wiring

Could this be for the brake light switch? It's not connected and the cable does reach there. Does anyone happen to have a wiring diagram they're willing to share?

    Schindler front axle oil

Just drained both sides. Left side, some nasty black oil came out with lots of glitter. Right side, nothing. Poking my finger in, it seems someone filled up the whole thing with grease! Not sure what to do now. Just add oil and hope the grease will dissolve eventually? Or could that...

    Oil preference

I don't believe that's true. The manual does list one multi-grade oil (5W-20), but only for temperatures below -12C.
