    I have a SMTA that has a small chain attached to the brake lock and the other end is attached to the light bar. It's a gas but from your picture it shouldn't make any difference.

    What blade do you have on it? If it's a six way step on the pedal and hold it down.Move the blade control lever sideways and see what' happens. It is usually for a blade function..

    JD 60, 12 volt coil getting hot

    Is the tractor still positive ground or been changed to negative ground? The coil needs to be hooked up according to the ground. If not it will get hot.

    They have a pin that fits in a notch on a flat spring,this is what holds it in place.Be careful not to break the pin when trying to turn the spool.

    The ones I have came off of a WD9. I bought the others with tires on them and put them on and had the others repaired. Tire clearance was about 3 inches on the original rims,the ones I put on it only had maybe an inch of tire clearance.

    I bought a set to put on another wd 9 that I have since sold. The salvage yard told me they were off of a 4020 standard. They fit real close to the fenders,the rims I have were offset more and had about 3 inches clearance. Sent these out to tire shop for repairs,young man that bought the tractor...

    The ramp conversion a local welding shop did it,I installed the jack conversion. Original jacks were 12000lb Bulldog.
