    MF175 will not start

    Need advice to start a diesel MF175..The tractor was running well..I stopped it to remove the cab and it will not restart..the engine turns over but it will not start...I removed the stop level cable but I have made sure that the stop lever on the pump is completely ccw and the throttle was held...

    Thks. DavidP for the response.. I verified the stop lever and it is well fastened to the shaft that enters the pump housing.. I have attached it completely ccw..still the motor just turns over.. I loosen the compression bolts on the top of the injectors and cranked the engine, their was fuel...

    What is best way to separate MF175

    Need to replace pto clutch on MF175. What is the easiest way to separate MF175... as shade tree mechanic..never did this before..How do I support both sections and then separate the tractor..This will be done outside no hydralic lifts available..thks.
