    'H' Rear Axle Question

    The drop helps retain oil for the outer bearing if you are working on un even ground, The capillary action of the axle as the oil is going around the bull gear works the oil out to lube the bearing, if it gets too full goes back to the housing.

    We had a customer's tractor in our shop recentley with the same problem, we found the collar that engages the shafts to drive had several burrs on it & the engagement lever was bent enough to cause the same problem you have. I would make sure that the lever is pulling the coller away far enough...

    the cables are easy,the positive ground cable is about 5 inches long and goes in one of the bolts that go into the side cover at the top and the ground goes down to the starter. as for the hyd lines what is it that you cant figure out about the routing?
