    FEL control valve does have a closed center plug. round bales are no heavier than what i always feed. always worked great until recently. seems like the tilt works good so i changed the hoses around on the control valve but that didn't make any difference

    having problems with loader not raising with round bale on it, loader is plumbed in through the filter, new filter, cleaned the screen, new oil. so with the loader plumbed in there does it run off the same hydraulic pump as the scv's? plugged into the scv's with the same result

    dad has a 2940 he said light came on to change hydraulic fluid, he change fluid and filter and light is still on, no loader on tractor. hooked haybine up other day and it doesn't have enough pressure to raise it up, was working fine until after changing the fluid & filter

    i don't see any place to grease the pto bearing, there was a sleeve a little in front of that, i did grease it today. turn the pto on with nothing hooked to it, it is quite, I will try to hook baler up to it tomorrow and check again

    since I had new clutch's put in (traction & pto) , when using the pto there is a loud whining sound coming from the clutch housing area, works good just noisy, when not using the pto it doesn't make any noise.

    just bought a 1950JD B couple weeks ago. now the clutch won't disengage, the clutch pulley runs all the time so can't get it back into gear, shut tractor off and put it in gear but then when starting it, it will try to start with it in gear. it was missing the side plate on pulley so it got...

    i seen on here somewhere that you might be able to take the tag off and get the numbers off of it from the backside? don't know if this is something you would want to try or not

    unhooked the return fuel line at the tank and blew air through from that side opened the line up and runs good again now, but the it will need to have the pump rebuild sometime, thanks for all the info and your help. you guys are great

    he unhooked the return line and then it runs as mentioned, blowed out with air and can hear air going through the return line on the top, hook it all back up then it will not run?
