    Hi,I have an 1953 B, that was stuck when I got it. I got it free,tore it apart,cylinders were not in bad shape, so I honed them,installed new rings,installed new mains and rod bearings and shimmed them,cleaned oil pump pick-up.     There is a real clean 1680 combine on a sale this Sat. Wonder your opinions on them. It has 3100 hrs., new trans., some other stuff. It is one of those retirement sales, everything looks like new, kept inside. Heck he only had a 4 row head on it, so many trips across field putting on hours...

    Found a 67, gas 656 Wf. Clutch , brakes, motor,TA,and sheet metal, are all good.Its going to need rear tires. I think the man will take $4000 for it.Is this a deal or not?

    Better watch out for this stuff. Properly treated this stuff should'nt stink. So the Biosolid people say? So if it stinks, its not treated. We had the N-viro people up up here in northern NY.     Stuck plunger on Massey #12

    It might be the shims have rusted and swelled up.Ours did the same thing. Unhook the plunger,yank it out, then take out the rails.Clean out the rusted shims,and you shoud be back in business.
