GEHL HL4400 BUCKET GOES DOWN BUT NOT UP

UPDATE PROBLEM SOLVED!! Ok so i enlisted one of my brothers to help me just to have another set of eyes on the problem, he suggested to take the cylinders loose and retract the rod all the way, then take the line off the stationary end of the cylinder and put the hose in a bucket while...

GEHL HL4400 BUCKET GOES DOWN BUT NOT UP

I am in the process of locating a pressure test kit, i had borrowed one when i tested the first time, but i only could borrow the gauge and one fitting. every set of lines on this thing has a different type of fitting, new hoses, old hoses, couplings, close nipples, etc...its a nightmare! i...

GEHL HL4400 BUCKET GOES DOWN BUT NOT UP

the high pressure line coming from the gear pump into the control valve is a big hose, too big for any fittings i would have access to to put on a gauge. what i dont understand is if the pump were going bad why do i have such strong pressure on the loader arm cylinders and the other end of the...

GEHL HL4400 BUCKET GOES DOWN BUT NOT UP

here is some pics. i finally figured out how to get em on my computer. the self-leveliing bypass valve and the housing it goes in, and the control valve as it sits in the machine.

GEHL HL4400 BUCKET GOES DOWN BUT NOT UP

the serial # is 3050. it has the ford engine. the number 14 you talk about is the tee in the line where the two lines split coming out of the bypass relief valve which is number 5 on that same page, and go to the left and right cylinders. i put a 3000 psi gauge on right there and that's where...

GEHL HL4400 BUCKET GOES DOWN BUT NOT UP

there is self leveling circuit that is tied into the bucket control side of the control valve, it consist of a self leveling bypass valve and a self leveling relive valve. i wish i could put a picture on here of what the control valve looks like. its extremely complicated to explain and...

GEHL HL4400 BUCKET GOES DOWN BUT NOT UP

took both lift cylinders loose at the chrome end, with the engine off and tilt control centered, you cannot move the ram in or out. did this one at a time, with the cylinders off, the control valve will suck the rams in VERY SLOW. out works just fine....

GEHL HL4400 BUCKET GOES DOWN BUT NOT UP

one more thing, you can see the cylinders sorta quivering, trying to pull when you try to roll the bucket but it just doesnt have the pressure to. its full of fluid and everything hydraulic powered works except the up on the bucket.

GEHL HL4400 BUCKET GOES DOWN BUT NOT UP

I think i forgot to mention, i tested hydraulic pressure coming out of the bucket lift side of the spool valve and got just over 100 psi of pressure. so i know im not getting any fluid travel to that side of the cylinders. I thought the seals could be bad but i have good strong power on the...

GEHL HL4400 BUCKET GOES DOWN BUT NOT UP

I have a Gehl HL4400 skid loader and was wondering if anyone has had any ideas on why the bucket has no lifting power to curl the bucket. It has a set of forks on it right now i was carrying freezer panels to load on a trailer when i went to pick up another stack when i went to lift the forks...

    All Fuel M

ive heard about it but not a subscriber....and i didnt know you could have a tractor archived. it doesn't seem i can anyway. I just knew that there were no record of this tractor from asking around, i dont understand why they didn't document more things about production, guess they figured...

    All Fuel M

No, its 33825 which is a late 1949. I have heard most all fuels were exported and the rest probably ended up in the southern US, and it has rice and cane tires on it, which whould make sense to be in that region. 52xxx sn would be close to end of production for the M. What source do you know...

    All Fuel M

Thats what I paid for it sevral years back I had no idea it was an all fuel until I got it home. I kinda bought it without even looking close.

    All Fuel M

I was just using that as an example, its an undocumented price at least until proven otherwise...Im not trying to say that's what its worth, to the right person it could be priceless and they will pay whatever it takes. Its hard to put a value on something like this that has no documented...
