    Cub doglegs made now to make the grill

    If you go to a local sheet metal shop , they probable have a set of rolls that would quickly and easily make that contour you need . My shop has two sets , a 3 foot and 4 foot . We can make flat sheet into pipe on contour flat sheet to what we need .

    Thanks for the answer about the 404 . The tractor is not running so that is a problem to tell the condition of it . No live PTO is not good . I guess i'll pas on it . If anyone else is interested in it for $350.00 , i'll pass on the info to you .

    Hi. There is a 404 for sale locally and i wondered how available parts are for this tractor . Also , what are the weak points ? Hate to waste money on something i can't get parts for or is not able to get work done .

    I agree with buying a new tank but sometimes that is not possible so cleaning and lining is all that is available .

    Here is what I do with fuel tanks .A little labor intensive but has always worked for me . Never done one on my tractor but plenty of car and truck tanks with varnish and rust . Using an outdoor cooker ( like a fish cooker ) place the tank on the cooker . Put in plenty of detergent like washing...

    If I plowed snow , I would want one . Thank God we don't need it in L.A. ( lower Alabama ) I just got off the phone with an old Navy buddy in New York state who told me he had been plowing snow several days . They got 30 inches .

    I've have never had this problem so my suggestion may be off base . You could try a slide hammer . A few bumps may get you there.

    Harry . How did they get killed ? Did something blow ( like the battery ) or was the tractor in gear and ran over them ?

    Been working EBAY since 1990 and there are sellers trying to make money on shipping or don't know what they are doing . Always check shipping cost on any item . Also check their feedback .Too many negatives , stay clear .

    new gas tank: TO SEAL, OR NOT TO SEAL

    I would not seal a new tank but if I did , I would use POR 15 tank sealer .
