    tractor cab.. good investment or too much $$$$ ???

    The old cab's were better than nothing, took one off our john deere last fall. Guy wanted for snowblowing etc. Was a cozy cab all the glass was there good cab foam but I put new in it 15 years before he got it so was thick stuff. I was happy to get $500 for it.     We have never had any issues with ours either, had an overhaul in the mid 1990's, it only has around 5,800 hrs on it. New in 1971 we paid 10,500 with a 5 bottom plow on it.

    John Deere 4000 tractor

    Always loved our 4000 tractor which is a diesel. The 4000 for you who dont know has the same engine as the 4020 but lighter rear end. They were only made from 1969 to 1972. This is a 1971 model.
