    Sorry, a brain fart :-( Yes, you are correct. That rod moves back and forth when I push down and let up on the clutch.

    If I put it in gear. The tires start to move as I rotate the shaft. If I push the clutch pedal down, the wheels stop. Because if I remember right, the org engine kept the shaft rotating.

    SO FAR. I got an 224 cc engine from H.F. - $192.14 (Can use the engine in something else later) and a 8.5" x 22" x 3/8" steel plate from a scrap yard - $21.32 Now to drill some holes. Ordered a 10 tooth sprocket. More fun. Here is my other post...

    My dad's old MH 44 has the drive shaft with the chain coupling and not the newer (I think) 6 bolt type coupling. What chain fits this? It is a double chain. I want to put a H.F. 6.5 HP engine on it to use for temporary firewood hauling, since my Continental engine is in for repair. I need to...

    I saw on YouTube a year or so ago that someone put a small engine (12-20 hp) gas lawnmower engine in a Massey 44 tractor. I can't find it now. How hard would it be to do? Thanks Keith

    H260 Continental Engine piston set

    Here is my 2nd H260 engine. It has different pistons in it. I used my digital calipers and it came out to 4.0625" or 4-1/16" inside the sleeve. My tractor says 44. But I am wondering if it is a 44 Special Keith This post was edited by khmarch on 05/31/2023 at 04:42 pm.
