    The one I think is a 1945 (rusty one) seems beefier and has a shifter on the left side underneath the small toolbox that the other does not have.

    Thank you sir! The way I read it is the 9N188707 is a 1945 and the 9N16187 is a 1940. Please correct me if I’m wrong.

    I have two ford 9n tractors. One has a serial number of 9N16187 the other has a serial number of 9N188707.
