I have something very similar to the lower 1/2 that held a weight box but not the vertical portion or the upper horizontal. The seller says that he has "everything" it's 50+ years old and has been sitting for a year? How much should I offer? Thanks again! -

rear end swap advice
I've really gotten a lot of great information by reading this forum. I'm hoping for a little more. I have a 65 (maybe 75) 4400. There is no 3 point and there is a leaky axle seal. It has the 4sp hi/low trans and an independent PTO. Looking at craigslist I saw this... -

Going to dig in this weekend but was giving thought to the way this thing works. The set screws you indicate seem to limit the control arm travel. Seems like tightening would reduce PS for that direction. Am I looking at that correctly? -

It's a single clutch IPTO. I was hoping that I could see the actual clutch plate. Some vehicles have an access plate underneath, with a mirror or camera can you see the clutch disk from under the steering? I haven't seen a pic so I'm having trouble visualizing. Thanks! -

With the steering box off can you see the clutch thickness? Adjust the pressure plate? My clutch only engages at the very top of the petal. It would be good to know for sure what's going on in there before I split the thing. Thanks. -

Anyone want a free SIMS cab for a 4500 TLB?
I'm in Cortland. I'm looking for $400-$500, it has all of the glass but is missing the lower part of the door. I'm pretty sure it will work with a 4500 because they have the same rear axle. [/img] -
