    Resister

    Or you could just get a 12 volt coil that has an internal resistor and remove the external resistor and eliminate the connections at the two terminals where you can have problems. The separate resistor is is cheaper but the coil is cleaner.

    I have no clue. I have an 8N and I'm looking to break sod to make a food plot. Is it best to get a 3pt 2 or 3 bottom plow or save some money and get a tow behind plow and figure out a way to hook it up. The tow behind plows are one, two or three hundred less than the 3pt so .... I'm clueless...

    Looks like you should be able to get a used pump and the wiring harness off Ebay for 100-$200 dollars. A PS motor from a Saturn Vue 02-07 from a salvage yard, ... or Ebay and the harness with the control for about $60 on Ebay.

    Found out it's the tap in the cheap Menards set I bought. I'll be returning that. Went to Oreillys and got the thread restoration loaner kit and the 7/16-14 in their set did a slick job of cleaning up those threads. Glad I didn't try to force my tap in there as I'd likely have to helicoil...
