I think I would be working out a winch and belaying system rather than trusting to transmission -which won't do much without the engine running in any event. Add to which you would have no steering or not much. Is it a petrol engine? If so, in many ways easier than a diesel to diagnose.- kleener

Kawasaki 65 Z(B) transmission question
I have recently acquired this machine, I think 1984-86 vintage. Does anyone have any idea if/where a transmission filter may be located? Has water contaminated oil, and want to try and get it drained and sorted without dismantling it all.- kleener
