    Great post. I'm just starting out with 30 acres in MN and planted alfalfa with oats as a nurse crop. The oats took off but I think I seeded the alfalfa too deep. Will keep trying to get it right.     Hello, I noticed your post and was wondering if you combined the oats? I've got 22 acres planted at the same inputs near St Cloud MN. Curious how many bushels of oats you harvested and if you were able to bale the straw? Thanks, Brad
