    Which one to keep

    I have a NH 451 and a Gehl Haybine and the wife says one has to go. The Gehl has never let me down however the NH is in decent shape however the bolt holding the sickle has been welded on and cannot be taken out easily. I'd like trade either on a roll bar rake. Thanks

    vermeer 450i baler problems

    It will help greatly if you find a less dense area in the windrow and start there, feed a little in at a time until you see the bal start to form, then go after it....

    ALl depends on the weather, you can probably go until late sept or early oct. It might have to lay on the ground a while longer or be raked or tedded once...

    pic of my new holland 450 deluxe

    Did you have to make the piece between the cylinder and mower and what size cylinder did you use. I've done the same thing to my 451 as the Double Hitch didn't work on my tractor. Also how well does the bar float on the ground?
