    John Deere 310 PTO wont move or come out?

    Is there anyone that knows how to get the PTO shaft out of a 1961 or 62 310 JD tractor, the PTO wont turn with the PTO engaged or out, it has a couple broken bolts in the rear output. I have looked for a diagram of the PTO but haven't been able to find anything, ANY help would be great thanks...

    Paint Does Not Have a good Shine!

    Yep synthetic enamel and nitrocellulose lacquer still work for me when I can find it. that is what I started with and held up darn good with a good finish, but now everyone wants to clear coat everything.

    Those were done in the 80's and 90's all free hand as was this black one but have gotten to shaky to do much of that anymore so most is dome with stencils, the blue one is what I ride now

    most of the problem is the clear coat is applied after the base is completely dried ( no adhesion ) if the base is new ( within hrs.) there are still chemicals in it to allow a clear coat to adhere. with a cured base lightly scuff ( fine scotch bright) it and wash it let it dry and wipe it down...

    Rear tire chains for 8N?

    I have found 3 sets in Iowa for less than 150 on C/L and E/B just haven't been able to get a reply or go get them... I have the same size tires 13.6 X 28 and need chains as well but cant get new thy are out of my price range, So if it gets to bad I will just stay inside. North Mo. Dave
