    Battery Door Finger Nut

Thats some redneck ingenuity if I've ever seen it (which I have lots of experience with) a prime example of whatever gets it back to working hard. Plus if you want new wing nuts head to your local hardware store... :)

    Front wheels

as for rusty rims you can just get new ones granted they wont be the original hat rims but nonetheless, that same tire shop said they spent 6 hours taking flaked rust off the rim and tube of my 9n before they could change my tire

    Front wheels

so to be clear we are taking them off? if so howabout cutting the tire off with a saw if its no good and using a pry bar on the remaining bead. if going onto rim a bead blaster does it or a crap ton of air pressure, just be careful not to blow yourself sky high. tire shop local to me did my 9N...

Is it possible to switch a side mount 8N block to a front mount setup?

    Ford 9N Brakes

Ahh when you got extremely worn out brick stiff brakes like my 9N does that little pawl gets moved outta the way so it doesn’t engage the brakes. Should add therefore making it easier to push the clutch in when the clutch only goes so far down due to my brake pedal only moving about a 1/2 inch...

    Ford 9N Brakes

well they don't sell kits like that for a 9N however red rock manufacturing sells a lever for your left hand brake so you can apply the brake with your hand as you use the clutch with your left foot and pressing the right brake with your right foot.

    New 9N

(main topic) if you ask me the carb looks to be frankenstiened outta a newer one and an older one. could mean something may be salvageable in there for parts, never know till you open er up. As for carb kits (soaked has got your back for now) heck you can even buy them right on this site, but...

    Dearborn Plow

So what I’ve learned from reading, don’t loan my tools or tractor to anyone, and always look for a missing coulter,

    Dearborn Plow

you mean the check chains, the economy plows didn't have those, if you wanted I suppose you could get a newer coulter assembly with an anti sway system or universal coulters. so you don't need chains

    Stripped threads in idle jet

I had one like that too but it was brass coloured, it was weird some days, Anyways. I would say you could try rebuilding the genuine carb using the Chinese carb parts or the rebuild kit you were going to use for the one you had to tap the threads in. if you already have a genuine carb I would...

    Stripped threads in idle jet

    is it brass coloured?

    Stripped threads in idle jet

Chinese carbs ain't no good, they started using metric instead of standard on them or at least here in Canada they do as for why they run poorly its because they are mass produced as cheaply as possible, cutting corners to make it cheap. I might say depending on the rebuild kit the needle may be...
