    Dodge truck models

I will contact them this week and see what they mean by these model numbers. I have never seen any model number other than C1, C3, D100 etc. Thanks

    Dodge truck models

There is a company that is making windshields for 1954 Dodge trucks. They state that the windshield fits models 5222, 5253, 5252, and 5752. My truck is a C1. Can anyone tell me what the above models are? Are they the same as a C1? Thanks.

1955 Dodge C1 Rear end swap

I picked up an 8 3/4 rear end from a 1969 Super Bee. The original rear end width is about 62 inches, and the Super Bee is 60 inches. I already have 1/2 inch spacers to make the total width on the orignal 63 inches. I am thinking about looking for wheels with an offset of 1 1/2 inches on each...

    727 Torqueflite Dipstick length

I have a 1955 Dodge C1 that has had a 1971 727-Torqueflite (small block 340 engine) installed. The trans dipstick is 18 1/4 inches, but the tube is 22 inches, so one of them is incorrect. Does anyone know the correct length of the tube and the dipstick? If the dipstick is correct, I can cut...

1955 Dodge C1 Rear end swap

Great information - thanks. I am going to hit some wrecking yards this week end and take my tape measure with me. Hopefully, I will find a decent rear end so I can have an emergency brake. Even though the truck has a 340 in it, I don't plan on hitting it hard - just cruising, so any rear end...

1955 Dodge C1 Rear end swap

Thanks for the replies. I was thinking about a line lock, but I have to find out if that will satisfy the New York State inspection. I also called around looking for an 8 3/4, but they are very hard to find. I beleive the rear end is the original, but after looking at it, I noticed it has 10...

1955 Dodge C1 Rear end swap

I purchased a 1955 Dodge C1 pickup that was updated to a 340, 727 Torqueflite. Apparently, the original rear end was used, and there is no way to hook up an emergency brake since the original was the drum brake on the end of the transmission. Does anyone know the easiest way to install an...
