    To 30 wiring diagram

    Thanks Jason but I need the wiring to the ignition switch, ammeter ,coil, hour meter, lights,, etc. I also have a solenoid instead of the original used with the shifter. It looks like what I have could be simplified from the way it was wired by the previous owner.

    I need a wiring diagram for my To 30 using a (2 wire) alternator. the Fena site shows a generator with a regulator. I would like to know if there is one available with the alternator. Tearing down to paint and want a backup diagram to back up my chicken scratches diagram I made.

    Anybody need pics of the hood lock or latch to hold it open?

    I could use pictures. I think I have a line on a new latch but I don't have any good pictures. My latch is missing.

    Front Spindle Exploed View For TO 30

    The dog ears have a taper instead of being more straight like the originals. New dogs are right at .035 higher than the original. Now wondering if I should build them up with weld or the spindle where they meet to have more mating surface or just leave them alone? Only use the tractor to mow...

    Stupid is as stupid does. I figured things out. I had left part of the outer shell of the old thrust bearing in the side I was working on. Everything is fully seated and I only have half of the dog ear engaged when I turn the spindle. I measured the amount of spindle at the top when installed...

    When I put the thrust bearing where shown, the ears on the spindle no longer hit the stop at the front and rear of the turn radius of the spindle housing? is this normal?

    Thanks Del they do help. What is #13? There is a thrust bushing/bearing at the bottom but this drawing shows #13 at the top also. Is it just a washer?

    Replacing bushings and front spindles on my TO 30 along with new wheel bearings. Can anyone post a legible exploded view of the parts assembly? I have the manual but it only explains the procedures and doesn't show the exploded view. I think the last shade tree who put it together many years...

    TO 30

    I recently replaced my PTO cover gasket and it took a while to get everything lined up when replacing the cover. I used a flashlight as I installed it to make sure everything lined up. it took a couple of tries and it can be tricky.

    Small Crack in Axle Center Section...

    It does not matter if the part is steel or cast iron. Both can be welded but the cast is a little trickier but very doable. I think you need to drill a small hole at each end of the crack to terminate it (stop the spreading) then get it welded up. Once you weld it you should be good to go.

    TO 30 Spindle Key Stock Removal

    Finally got it to break free. Penetrating oil and some more hammering finally did the job. Realize now the bushings look like they have never been replaced. Oh boy more fun ahead!

    I have tried hitting it like you describe but it does not move. I am using my 3 lb hammer.
