    Let me get this straight, on these engines the piston has to be installed from the bottom of the cylinder? So one must remove the crank from the block to take a piston out?     Not familiar with a F-20 so my question would be does this engine have wet sleeves? If so I would be thinking about pulling the sleeves out with the pistons still in them. Then try to push them down and out the bottom of the sleeves.

    I'm pretty sure I ordered the starter from the link at the top of this sites page and notice that they have two listings for the starter that are confusing as both say models A, B, C, Super A, Super C. and when I click on either one I am sent to the same page.

    I give it another look later today. This BN has been using a 12 volt battery and a Delco alternator for over 25 years. I do have it on a trickle charger for a couple days so should be charged up and temps here are now in the low 40's. I'll report back probably after noon.

    I have a BN that I mounted a 72 inch Woods mower deck on something like 30 years ago, still use it today! Bought it July of 1977. Did a complete rebuild on it winter of 1985-86.
