    I have an 8n Ford tractor. I cannot get it to start regularly, for along time. I've replaced the carburator (probably a cheap-po) and tried to adjust. No luck. About 4 or 5 years ago I had another 8n and I had the same issues. After replacing the carburator back then I had the same issues...

    Yes, that is correct. I have a working switch but it drains the battery over night. I just assumed I had it wired wrong.

    I have no idea. I only bought the 4 post switch because a tractor guy said I should. Plus that's what came off the tractor. As a another note - the switch I have on it right now (2 post) works perfect, all lights work, etc. Only problem is the battery drains completely down over night.
