Looking for PTO lever part for 1800

I am looking for the rod (103958-A) that is on the PTO lever for an 1800. This rod has a knob screwed on the top end , and small 90 degree bend at the bottom end with a cotter pin hole. I did a search for the part number on google but came up with nothing. Can someone give me an idea where...

    Belly blade dimensions

I'd think making a grader blade would be easier/cheaper than trying to find one for my '47 Super A. Can someone advise the length, height and maximum angle of the blade? For plowing 3-5" snowfalls would a belly blade work? Thanks

David Brown 885 air filter question

Does anyone know how I could cross reference filter 80085N or buy a filter from dimensions? It needs to be 4 1/8" OD, 3" ID and around 11 1/8" long. I am about out of ideas. Thanks

David Brown 885 air filter question

The first pic shows how the housing fits between the radiator and the front grill. The second one shows how it swings out to access the filters and the last one shows how the outer filter fits inside. The inner filter is K200380 which crosses with the Wix 46341 that you recommended but the...

David Brown 885 air filter question

I thought about it being a Johnny Cash 885. The book shows the oil bath type but there's no hole in the hood....guess the hood could be off of something else too though. The WIX 46341 inner filter should work for me, but the outer filter is almost an inch bigger in diameter. There's a fin...

David Brown 885 air filter question

Just bought a 1979 David Brown 885/41 tractor. It has an inner and outer air filter in a canister between the radiator and the grill. Guy I bought it from gave me manuals for a Case 380CK. Most everything looks the same except the air filter. Googling air filter for a David Brown 885...

    IH 966 hydraulic problems

OK, I finally got back to the tractor today. The draft control lever was almost all the way back, so it is now all the way forward. When I pull the position control lever all the way back, the 3 point raises all the way. When I push it to the offset, it won't lower at all. If I get out of...

    IH 966 hydraulic problems

No, Gary, it isn't all the way forward. It was about in the middle. It is very hard to move.

    IH 966 hydraulic problems

I'm not sure what you mean by deadhead. On the left side of the tractor, I saw something with several hydraulic lines going into it. From pictures on the internet, it looked like a MCV. Is the pump further toward the back of the tractor than that? Also, since the 3 point doesn't want to go...

    IH 966 hydraulic problems

Yes, I checked the fluid level and it was fine. I also changed the filter. The oil that came out of the filter housing was darker than what was on the dipstick, but the filter didn't look particularly dirty.

    IH 966 hydraulic problems

Hello all, I need help with an IH 966 tractor. It belonged to my Dad, who recently passed away. I want to sell the tractor but am concerned it has something wrong with the hydraulics. The tractor has a loader on it and recently I noticed that the bucket seems to move up and down slower than...

    John Deere 347 Baler

It's a twine baler. Dad used it 11 years putting up 10,000-15,000 bales a year. Then in 2005 he bought a Case 8545, so the John Deere sat in the shed except when he wanted to have 2 balers going at a time, which was very rare. The baler is in southern Colorado and with the dry climate and...

    John Deere 347 Baler

There are definitely no holes in the front of the baler case. The cover over the knotters has been replaced with a piece of tin but under the knotters themselves, I don't see anything. Do you have a picture you could post? I'm not very familiar with the baler. It belonged to my Dad, who...

    John Deere 347 Baler

I am trying to identify the year of a baler. I can't find the serial number anywhere. My dad bought it used in 1994. Can anyone tell me what years these balers were produced and where I might find the serial number?
