    O.T. How is Irene Treating Ya ?

    Just got power back on ,been off from 1:20 yesturday. Got 15+ trees down road washed bad and one culvert plugged.No damage to house and barns.About 5and 1/2 inches rain+ the 2 1/4 the day before.

    The studs are just screwed in usually they are slightly oversize on that side so they stay.

    Most likely the clutch discs are comeing apart.This causes vibration and often they will double up and make it hard to engage and disengage.That then causes the keys or forks or bearing to brake. So find whats broken and do a good inspection of the disc.

    1650 gas

    My 1650 gas has a fuel pump,but it was added later.More gas does seem to make it run better.Inline filters love to plug,i had one on mine and after the 3rd replacement i left it off.

    Like i said below there are no cast seats in the parts book.The pressed steel seats rust and crack and break.You see silverking tractors with seats from differant machines,so i think the club just decided to make some with the right name.

    White 2-70 Fuel Return Leaking

    Yes those are differant. Those fittings have a rubber ring inside that can be replaced.They are similar to the ones near the fuel pumps only smaller.I don't know if agco sells those small rings.

    You need a GOOD seal in the nose the part of the carb that sticks between the 2 floats.If it don't seal there the idle ajustment won't work.

    Those nylon tees need to be replaced every 6 to 10 years.The rear one usually breaks first.

    Those engines were used in avery and moline model V tractors.I have only seen one of those with a good engine, all the rest needed new ones.The last one i saw a fellow had taken the engine to a shop to rebuild it and they lost the engine,he sold the remains at an auction because he could not...

    More 2-105?

    It looks like the sleeves are below the top of block(outside land).I have been running a straight edge over the block and head and this just seems wrong after seeing all the other engines being alittle higher.Can't find any cracks,but the manifold is still stuck on.

    Reproduction i don't think they used aluminum.The seats in the parts book are all pressed steel not cast.

    1550 PS problems

    Well all those numbers are low.Could be several things a week pump, relief valve not holding,too much oil flowing through the steering.If the pump is good you should be able to make the relief valve snap when you pull the remote levers.
