    Alternative to calcium chloride

    I went up to the local repair shop & picked up 2 barrels of used antifreeze & put that into the tires of my int 330, seems to work great. It tested at -10 below and he was glad to get rid of it.

    Farmall 450

    I did some more checking on the casting numbers, and the numbers I gave seem correct. Looking down from the top of the engine on the manifold side there is a cast no. that reads 1-29-C on the head if that helps. Thanks Larry

    Tractor serial number is 4289 S, with ps, torque amplifer, 3 hydraulic valves,and straight drawbar. Will post pictures soon, tractors being restored. Thanks Larry

    Thanks for the replies, I guess for now it will stay in. The engine runs excellent with 70 lbs oil pressue when warmed up. No oil leaks or strange noises.
