    Almost ready to paint.

    Right behind me is a '54 77, a 67 770 to the left is two '37 Hart Parr 70's. In all there is also a 55 Super 77, 1655, another '36 Hart Parr 70, Hart Parr 18-27, '45 Oliver orchard 70, OC-3 2 Oliver 70's, a one row corn picker, a '58 770, a 720 baler and a 620 baler.....I'm out of room!

    Tillage in the 50s

    With the lack of herbicides in the 50's especially, everyone used to beat the ground to death in the spring trying to kill the weed flushes. Don't remember anybody getting too excited if the seed wasn't in the ground by april 15th though....coarse 80 bushels of corn was a pretty good year also.

    Almost ready to paint.

    Just finished repairing the "hatchet hole" in the hood and fitting and drilling a new exhaust hole. Just have one rear rim to weld up and then paint them also, along with the tractor. It's a '53 77 and similar to the one I farmed with in the 70's. Got the electric hydraulics on it also.

    At least 6' to keep it from silting too quickly and filling with cattails.
