    656 Farmall loader

No it doesn't, and no they didn't. The 2250, 2255, 23, and 24 all sat on their mounting frame when removed. Also, if thats a 1970 656, it has the wrong grill. I believe '67 or'68 was the last year for that grill.

    6 jaw chuck

I see where you're coming from but thats more of a preference than a capability. the way I read your post,it sounded to me like you meant relative capability between the two. Mystery solved.

    6 jaw chuck

In thirty some years I have put a lot of odd shapes in four jaw chucks also, but my question to Tony concerned his statement "not so much for round stock". A four jaw is much more suitable as you get into larger sizes and heavier cuts, as I have seen parts walk out of a three jaw more than once.

    6 jaw chuck

Could you please explain this statement? I can't understand what you could possibly mean. Retired 30 plus year machinist putting round stock in four jaw chucks all the time here.

Any chance you could show an actual picture for those of us who don't do jigsaw puzzles?

IH 666 - PTO Actuator Leak

If its leaking on top around the shaft, you can replace the o ring inside the part the shaft goes through. Remove the linkage and you can unscrew the fitting from the end of the shaft. there is a hole in the shaft to put something through to keep it from turning. Be sue to count how many turns...

Nearly mowed (not a pun) a motorcyclist this afternoon

I came to the same conclusion, it's like they think your waving them past instead of signaling a turn. And as far as turn signals on farm equipment goes, I actually had one idiot tell me that he had no idea why one light was flashing and the other was on solid.

    Silo for Saturday

Some people still do it that way, with a 130 hp tractor on a two row chopper. And a 100 hp tractor on the bagger, using three old and tired self unloading wagons.

    bearings on Kewanee auger

My semi-local Motion Industries went all Fastenal with no counter service, so I found a lesser known bearing supplier that's closer.

CaseIH 485 Utility - what's this wire that with headlight connectors?

Possibly for a horn, they were an option. It would be on the underside of the hood so if your hood is lying upside down you can tell pretty easily. That is the only thing I can remember near the headlight harness.

    Cub Cadet Fuel Flow Issue

If its like my 3235, it has a grommet on the top for the fuel line. Its not that hard to pull the fender pan, and then its right there.

Converting from pin-on the quick attach

RRlund, who can be found on the Oliver forum has a Dunham Lehr loader that he did exactly that with. If you go there you can probably find a post with pictures, or ask him about it.
