    There is only one wire to the lights. There is an internal ground in the lamp housing and i made sure that it has ground to the tractor. The lights will work until I install the switch into the instrument panel and then when I turn the lights on it blows the fuse. It is 6 volt positive ground...

    I'm back again. I have got the lights to work with the switch in my hand but when I install it into the instrument panel it shorts out the fuse. This has happened with two different switches. What am I doing wrong?
