    Great news !! I ordered the O-ring part number SBA052300250 for my 1986 Ford 1710 yes it does take this O-ring and of course the gasket that seals the water pump. hopefully this helps other people. thanks for the great feedback everyone🚜

    Hi there new to the site , I have a 1986 Ford 1710 three cylinder diesel. I’m changing the water pump I noticed in the manual drawings. They show a O-ring on the engine side which marries to the water pump. When I took my old water pump off, there was none. Do I need a ring for this year? If so...

    Hi there, I have a 1986 Ford 1710 three cylinder diesel tractor. I took old water pump off replacing with new . I noticed in manual a o-ring on engine water port which marries to water pump. Is this O-ring necessary for my year? If so, can I match with automotive O-ring? Thank you.

    Glad to be here at yesterday‘s Tractor. I have a 1986 1710 three cylinder diesel compact tractor. I’m replacing the water pump & hoses belt , thermostat just given it some love. My question is do I use Parma bond with the water pump gasket.? Thanks.
