    We just got our long neglected 8N running and driving. When we needed a battery for it, last month I pulled the 9 year old Optima out of my 50 coupe. Still in there and I might have to steal it back for the car.

    Aesthetic profit perhaps. I do have micrometers, but don't ever fully trust my ID measurements. My highly valued engine shop guy always gets just a little different number. Thanks for helpful advice.

    Because these days rebuilding engines is about all I do. Keeps me occupied, I enjoy it. Ford V8s and vintage motorcycles mostly. I'd hate to have to play golf or go fishing. Thanks, everybody!
