    And check the bearings! That much water could easily have wiped them out. Leon

    wd starter

    I've put this on here before but if your points, condenser, or coil are weak with a 6 volt you can have a starter that seems to turn over slow or not at all because there is not strong enough fire to help the starter kick over. Also check your timing. Leon

    I believe if it's that hard to turn over I would want to find out why before running it any more.

    WC High RPM's

    I don't think I would start it again until I checked the govenor weights. Could be a broken one and when that happens it sounds like a jet engine.If that is the case check the side play in the governor shaft as it can slop around in there and break a weight.
