John Deere 316 garden tractor question
The 316 was offered in two variations.The first being a 16 hp Kohler powered replacement for the model 300.The second was basically a cheaper "baby brother" to the 318.They are usually referred to as a 316 Kohler or 316 Onan.The Onan powered 316 is a 16 hp version.Hope this helps...Joe- lgtjoe
