    Thanks, I did figure out that it is definitely an open center. With the PTO pump being continuous output, it couldn't be anything else. P.S. I couldn't blow anywhere on that valve without eating some greasy gunk, so I think I'll pass on that. :D

    Mine doesn't have a float function. If memory serves, my dad's old DuAls had the float on the tilt, which was used for a hay basket to pick up windrows for loose hay stacks. Is that not the norm?

    It isn't plumbed to the tractor system. I have a Farmhand yellow PTO pump that seems to be working okay. At least it squeals like a stuck pig when the broken valve spring leaves the grapple lever in up. Is there a way for me to determine whether it's an open or closed center?

    I thought about that, but they require a thread cutter in the injector block to match the plug threads. The Diesel RX plugs are also supposed to be hotter, and they are supposed to match for the originals. I'm a little wary of putting a thread cutter through my injector blocks.
