    Super C alternator

    Thank you for the comment. When we bought the SC it had a new 6-volt. Would hardly turn it over. I put a new 8v and it lasted a year and would not hold charge. The btry test said it was bad. So, thinking it had a warranty went to get a new 8v. T everyones surprise they do not warrany 8v...

    Super C alternator

    We are switching from 6-volts to 12 on our super C. Somewhere I read of a 12 volt Alternator that looks exactly like the original 6-volt. Trying to retain the original look. Anyone know who handles such a alternator?

    fuel pump push rod

    I have a new rod and diaphram from Rice. I put a new rod in about 3-years ago and the old slipped rite out as did the new one. If it was bent it would slowly tighten up but I put vice grip on and it feels like it is hitting th wall all around. When I pull hard it still turns 360 easily.

    Been having trouble w/blowing diaphrams and gas going into oil pan. After removing the fuel pump to replace the diaphram I discovered I cannot remove the push rod. Normally I can pull it out w/no problem. It comes out about 1/4 to 1/2" and hits a wall like feeling. I turn it around same thing...

    F-14 Fuel Pump

    I am not sure how the excess gas gets back to the tank! I do know the last time this happened the oil pan had all 3-gallons of fuel in it along w/ the Gov and everything else. A real mess. Since then I turn the gas tank off. It still goes to the oil pan when I run the engine.

    Restored this 14 5-years ago. In the past 3 months the diafram has blown out twice. The only change I have made is a new fuel pump push rod. I do not know what could be blowing the diaframs. Sugestions would be appreciated.

    Forgot to mention I put 2-new ones from Rice 2-months ago and one of them has leaked from the beginning. Must have been made in china.
