    I'm using the Copper head gasket. suppose to be for AD3 152 engine. I agree piston should not be hitting edge of gasket. I don't know if anyone sales at different gasket. The gasket I removed when tore engine was not a copper one.

    Ok thanks, Can't figure why piston is hitting head gasket. Engine has new sleeves and pistons. Don't know what else to try

    Maybe I am using the wrong head gasket because piston hits gasket and then galls a piston. I am using a copper head gasket. can't figure out why this is happening.

    I am rebuilding Perkins AD3 152 engine and when I install the pistons they are about 6 to 8 thousands above the cylinders when pistons are at top dead center. engine was running fine before rebuild. has anyone run into this problem? if so what is the fix
