    Unsure what engine you have in your NH, but I've got a Ford 1910 3 cyl manufactured by Shibaura. It does not sound like yours. Does your tractor seem to have full power under load? That may tell you if it's running on 2 cylinders? If so, agree low hours hopefully not mechanical but fuel-related

    Turkeys

    Canada geese seem to be the biggest nuisance here with with all their droppings - parks, beaches, marinas, golf courses. Any place w water. Have gone from almost extinct to overpopulation in many areas. There is a hunting season but many don't find them appetizing

    We're in SE Mich near Lake St. Clair. Occasionally see Sandhill Cranes. Seem migratory. Since I've been on this acreage 40+ years and only seen 4-5x consider rather rare and a treat to see occasionally. Sorry you're having issues with them being destructive.

    hydraulic problems

    Just a thought... Don't have a JD but on my compact tractor they are part of the same system. One pump for both. Ask is he dinked around with the hydraulic selector valve or the draft control settings on the 3 pt? My brother got mine stuck in mud and couldn't get the FEL loader to push it out...

    Nice work. I mean the combine. Not the hand....LOL. Some of that metal just behind your repair to the right looks deeply pitted. Might wanna keep an eye on it.

    Rate my Haul job - 1st time hauling heavy equipment

    Have had success using sections of old fire hose for edge protection whether you feed chain or straps through it. Also protects painted surfaces from chain bites. Between the thick rubber core and durable canvas exterior it's some 'tuff stuff'.
