    Draft o matic lowering spool

    Posted last week about draft o matic lowering spool. Reset all the linkage again and put some weight on the arms and it went all the way down. Seams okay now . Time will tell. Thanks for the help guys.

    Anybody know the overall dimention of the lowering spool on a 1070 3 point hitch.I have a 1070 that somebody must have fooled with because the hitch will only go half way down.I think they shortened the spool even if i manualy run the main spool from full raise to down it only goes half way...

    1956 400 Transmission Noise

    High and low gears in that tractor are straight cut. Later 30 serias are helical cut = less noise. Diferential bearings won't make noise exept maybe in high gear.400 tractors are naturly noisy but you could have bearing going out in trans.

    210B-H overbore a 126 to a 148???

    A long time ago I overhauled a G126 using a G148 kit. If I remember right the upper counter bores were the same. The lower counter had to be enlarged, ever thing else was the same.

    Bleeding 3rd stage filter 830

    On eagle hitch tractors there is a bypass valve between the primary and secondary filters on the top of the filter housing .
