Thanks, which route did you take to post it?

    Baler needle ID?

I guess I don't remember how to post a picture anymore. Sorry. That link is to the IMGUR picture.

    Baler needle ID?

Does anyone recognize these baler needles? The ones on the right I was told were Freeman, the others are either from my old Case, a 214T or a MF.

    Tillage how-to?

How can I tell if it's what you're calling heavy clay? I'm in the south end of the Willamette Valley in western Oregon. I agree with you guys that I need to do a soil test first probably.

    Tillage how-to?

Is there a guide somewhere that someone recommends on tillage processes? I want to make the pasture grow some real grass and I'm afraid the reason it won't is the clay is so compacted now it can't. I have a 300U and it's 2 bottom, and 6' and 8' discs, along with a real, real heavy drag that...

    3/4 size balers?

Nope, smaller baler not the bale or tractor. Not very common to use hay specific trailers or wagons here for small hobby operations. If you're well off a NH stack wagon is the most common.

    3/4 size balers?

Everyone reading this as "did anyone make a baler to make 3/4 size bales", instead of "3/4 size baler". The size of the bale isn't the topic.

    3/4 size balers?

Yep, and, downsizing the outside dimensions of a baler to go with a smaller tractor sure would be easier to maneuver around some of these small lots a lot of people have. I quit haying several years ago but was getting calls pretty often from people with a couple to 10 acres parcels needing...

    3/4 size balers?

I'm talking about outside dimensions, not bale size, guys.

    3/4 size balers?

Is that the Abbriatta or Claas maybe? Theyreally don't seem really much smaller than our conventionals, maybe it's just the perception issue with the camera.

    3/4 size balers?

Does or did any company make a true 3/4 size square baler? Hard to believe it hasn't been made before with all the people with small properties wanting baled.

    NH254 design flaw

Since the first day I read about the NH254 here the topic has been reliability/wear issues. The videos I've seen of them running makes me think the rotor speed is a tad too high and the amount of arm rotate is too severe, both causing excessive wear in the cam follower, cam, and where the arms...

    Richard Schock?

The guy I'm talking about is in salmon Idaho. Still no response that he intends to correct his thieving ways.

Got some time in on the Lely drum mower

Also some wrenching experience on it. 7 acres in the outboard bearings went on the cutterhead. Now having any paperwork on it made dis assembly fairly tedious in a couple spots. As it was coming apart I couldn't help but admire the quality of design as things were done with some intelligence and...

    Richard Schock?

So multiple calls and voicemail proves this guy doesn't care at all to hold up his end of the deal. I'll go on record here as saying be wary of doing business with Richard/Dick Schock of Salmon Idaho. He has my money, and I have incorrect parts that do me no good. Loren Coffin
