    Got a question on the 134 gas engine. Is the governor arm to the throttle linkage supposed to have any play from side to side. Not front to back like it's normal action but side to side? Or is it supposed to be solid?

    I've never taken the governor apart. What do these pins hold in place? Anyway I can check without disassembly?

    I don't know... I just got done doing a valve job and replacing head gasket... There was no dowel pins or any pins in the top end, for that matter. Thought I'd clean the oil pan before I fill it back up and found that. Maybe previous owner accidently dropped it in there.

    forf 631 temperature gauge

    I bought a temp gauge (says it fits 601 series) and the fitting that threads into the block with the probe is too big.... anyone know what part number for 631 temperature gauge and probe is? Only people that have them because they all look the same in sale the pictures on the net.

    Thank you much. All i saw on the alternator was one wire coming off of it.....didnt even see #1 or #2 but ill look again when i get off work. I figure the resistor didnt matter because it runs fine and ive used it to move a bunch of 3x3 bales.....coil didnt burn up but i just wanted to make sure.

    I bought a 631 and it was converted to 12v.....it has a one wire alternator. Have any of you hooked up the charge light with a one wire alternator and how did you do it/can it be done? Im going to rewire this thing because theres like 6 wire hooled up to the hkt side of the solenoid. Also does...
