using a log splitter pump for remote hydraulics

I can make a mount that supports the shaft at both ends taking care of the side load issue. This pump will go in the place of the alt. as I have no need for it, no lights or other power users so the battery just has to start it. I am mounting a battery charger permanently on the tractor to plug...

using a log splitter pump for remote hydraulics

I thought about using a front mount pump (actually have one off a ford backhoe) but the rad sits below the centerline of the crank pulley so that is a no go. maybe if I build the mounting bracket with a support for the pump shaft? Thank you all for the info gives me some thing to work with.

using a log splitter pump for remote hydraulics

I was wondering if it is possible to use the small pump from a splitter for remote hydraulics? It would be belt driven off the front of my Massey 65. It is set up now to use the internal pump but it is slow as all get out and having the levers between my knees is a pain. Fabbing up mounts etc...

    injection pump

hanks for all the replies. The thing is I want to fix these leaks myself, can't afford to send/take it in. I do all my own wrenching from simple to complete engine rebuilds etc.. That is why I needed to know if they were the same pump so I could get the seals for it. I don't want come across as...

    injection pump

Yes it works fine, I just needed to know if the 203 pump was the same so I could get seals for it. I can't find any thing for the 192 pump on line.

    injection pump

Thank you for the reply, at least now I don't think I have to replace the entire pump. I still need to find out if it is the same as the pump on a 203.

    injection pump

I have a 1958 diesel 65 with I believe the A4.192 engine. Can anyone tell me if there is a difference between the injection pumps for this engine and the 203. Mine drips fuel while it is running from a couple lines and a plug in the side. So far all I can find online is the pump for the 203. Any...

    massey 65 diesel over heating

i never had the tstat out just the rad. by the way the top hose gets hot and i can watch the coolant moving in the rad but the bottom hose stays cold.

    massey 65 diesel over heating

hello everyone. first post and first massey. my question is, do you have to bleed the cooling system on a 65 diesel? m y rad was leaking so i pulled it and soldered it up. after i put it all back together i could only get 1 1/2 gallons of coolant in it. i started it up and ran it hoping it would...
