    Hey jdemaris- you were psychic!

I think our Brother Gary in TX needs to read this just for a giggle. It's the little things that mean so much. Thanks for the image.

OT: bad day, need good thoughts

Brother, If your gonna be blue, be blue. If your gonna be mad, be mad. Embrace it, then get over it. Emotions are rough, but you already know your blue. Acceptence is the the first step. Sounds stupid, but if you can bring yourself to tears, it's a release. They don't have to be sad tears...

OT: Growing Veggies if You Don't Have Much Space

I used an Old Roy dog food sack for my Topsy Turvy. Their a woven plastic fiber. Only fear I have is that the cotton strings might rot out to soon. Next time I'll restitch them with plastic baler twine. They are working great and didn't cost anything. A plastic barrel makes a great potato...

    agco allis transaxle

I have a 1417 (I think) with a bad transaxle, no power. I would hope to find someone to ask about putting a Tuff Torq transaxle in it. Hydro gear is stock but I can get a NOS Tuff Torq for $229. Be a cheap fix if it is possible. Doing this for my Mother so it's got to be cheap. Thank's for any info.

Funny story, Hope it isn't true... Kinda long

To learn and live to tell about it. My wife found out the little ones are dangerous too. I have two rat terriers, mother and son. Mom's got a nose like a blood hound and the son is a natural born assassin. If your small brown and furry, your gotta die. One day my wife and daughter were out in...

    4020 power shift woes

I've got a 1964 4020 power shift. Last fall I was pulling a 400 bushel load of corn up a n incline in 8th gear. When the tractor pulled down to about 3/4ths the rpm the transmission acted like it shifted to sixth gear. I manually shifted to 6th gear and pulled the rest of the way up the hill. I...

    1/2 OT: Gravely ZTR's

I bought a new 260 Z about 5 years ago. I haven't mowed my yard since. My wife just about fist fights me for it. It's a blast to run. I have done nothing but changed oil and cleaned the air filter and my wife mows about two acres of yard every week. The hydros are tough and responsive and like...

    E-85 in a Stock M

E-85 is available at my local CO-OP for about 40 cents less than regular gas. Being of the cheap nature I would like to know if I can burn E-85 and not roast my engine . I already know that I need to open the needle to achieve the same output, but I am afraid of burning valves or scoring pistons...
