1947 8N?
They are not only hard to date - it's hard to know if I have a 2,8,or9. I did get one reply that said if it has 3 forward gears (which mine has) it cannot be an 8 but is probably a 2N - Do you agree with this?- Maggi Runke

Yes it only has 3 forward gears so it must be a 2N - Thanks- Maggi Runke

1947 8N?
My Ford tractor is stamped 8N on the side of the engine, however the serial number is NA189 - so is it an 8N? some have told me it is possible this was built on the 2nd day of production in 1947.- Maggi Runke
