    Du Al 250 bucket cylinder

Sorry for not getting back sooner but at least I now have the issue resolved. The hydraulic shop called and said they had found a cylinder that they thought would match up close enough to work and it did. I had found several DuAll 250 loaders on line but were far enough away that I didn't want...

    Du Al 250 bucket cylinder

Well I took the cylinder to a repair place and got a call back that said there were issues with the shaft, the barrel, the aluminum collar, and where it has been welded so I'll have to check Monday and see if there's a better way to go. Wondering if it might be cheaper in the long run to maybe...

    Du Al 250 bucket cylinder

Is that Surplus Center at Lincoln, NE. and if so would you happen to have the part no. or page that it is listed on?

    Du Al 250 bucket cylinder

Well the closed length is 30" and the extended length is 46" so I would assume the stroke would be 16" with a 3" bore, correct me If I'm wrong. If that be the case I should look for something in that range?

    Du Al 250 bucket cylinder

The threads are striped on the barrel and collar and I think it would be cheaper to replace with a different cyl.

    Du Al 250 bucket cylinder

I have a Du Al 250 loader and the front cyl. for the bucket is leaking to where it can't be repaired. I would like to just replace it with a 2 way cyl. of comparable length and stroke as all I use it for is to move snow in the winter time and odd jobs around the place. Is there any reason that I...

    51 M runaway engine

Sorry I forgot to mention that it was converted to a 12 volt alternator system for starting maybe 20 years ago and I have never changed any wires aside from replacing the ignition switch when I thought it was bad. Anyway I'll keep a watch and see if it acts up any more or not. Thanks for all...

    51 M runaway engine

In regards to the ignition problem and a former post about high idling I tried it this AM and before I could get my foot off the starter it was running which I haven't had happen for a long, long time. I think a combination of a worn governor throttle shaft and a worn throttle plate screw...

    51 M runaway engine

Well we are back online again, I went to the local salvage yard and got a good used M governor put it on and it runs like a new tractor. I had to replace the throttle plate screw as it was only half a screw and also now when I hit the ignition switch it shuts off. Could be when the linkage was...

    51 M runaway engine

I am going to try and modify a IHC shaft to work in the M&W tube as the M&W shaft is complete trash, I'm surprised the shaft didn't break instead of the end giving out. As far as the ignition I was having a hard time trying to start it and then I found out the coil was bad. It had a 6 volt coil...

Is this what you are talking about?

    51 M runaway engine

Does anyone know if the standard IHC M Governer throttle shaft part # 49788DXA for a M will interchange with a M&W G-11 throttle tube?

    51 M runaway engine

I should mention that after I thought about it the time frame it was probably closer to 50 years ago. And after I looked for M&W I was wondering if I could maybe get a IHC tube and shaft from a salvage yard and use the M&W guts inside the governor housing?

    51 M runaway engine

12 volt conversion maybe 20 years ago, battery ignition, and when it would not shut off when pushed in to off I assumed them switch was bad and replaced it. Now I went out and removed the carb. and all was tight but when I looked at the governor shaft that fits into the throttle shaft there was...

    51 M runaway engine

No I wasn't nervous or confused I pushed the switch in and it would not short out, it did this before so I replaced the original switch as it was acting up then but still the same results. I checked the governor rod, spring, etc. and all are solid so next thing ZI will do is take the carb off...
