Ford 2n 3 point issues
There is a cam follower pin. They wear a flat or break off. It is non lubricated in the top cover. Sometimes they can be rotated. But, it's best to replace it. Joe- Maineman

You would probably get better results posting in the garden tractor section of this forum. That being said, I'm not sure that case ever made the manual you seek. Sorry, I should have checked first. It's an 841. Serial number 37343. The tractor has everything you would want when buying a tlb back in the day. Except it's an agricultural machine. It's pretty well beat. But the blue paint and rebuilt engine make me think maybe it was a trade in for a new... -

I also have an 840 Ford with Elanco system, front loader and back hoe. It also has cast rear centers. The man I bought it from in central New Hampshire said his father had it since the 1970's. The engine is a ford factory rebuilt and the tractor was painted blue at some point. Joe -

need help! ford 601 gas
I would double check for a manifold leak. Hand over carb intake. Do you feel suction? Pull spark plugs thumb over hole do you feel suction? Maybe a compression check is in order. That's what I'd check. Joe- Maineman
