    UTE Survivors

yep, have 2 of them. A good one, with an aftermarket front axle, and a parts machine to eventually swap axle and dual up, with axle duals, as it has the extra long axles. Unless I sell them before I get to the project.

    Moline P3-7 drill color

Many had Red and green frames, with Prairie Gold wheels. Grandpa bought ours new in 1950, and it was as I described. ~ Martin

    front wheel weights

Yes, those look like the older Z/U/R weights.

    front wheel weights

those are for ZA / U & Newer. Please refer to my article in the January 2015 Issue of Prairie Gold Rush Magazine. It spells out MM weights & Applications. Older U & Z's used a different front weight.

    What do I have? Planter

That is neat. I would love to have a 2 row like that for garden & food plot planting, as well as preservation as a MM! I am in southern Minnesota.

    Floyd County Museum

That is NOT Minneapolis, but rather the former Moline Plow Factory in Moline, Illinois. Looks to be a 1930's Photograph, perhaps 1940's, hard to tell on such a small photo. John Deere now owns much if not all of that property. The building with 2 pitched roofs, to the right of teh building with...

    2655/A4T1600

Considering the WFE emblem on the grill did not come out until after bankruptcy & was used in the 1980's, I'd say it's safe to assume the WHITE placards were also added. I looks nice, a great "what if" they were still building the A4T in 1980, would look like.

    206 -J Motor

Yes, that should be. Service Bulletin says 1956 Production G4 were to get improved 206 ohv engine, but I believe that is when they decided to change to the G-144 number also. That said, I have seen G-4 Harvestors with 206 engines, presumable re-powered?

    206 -J Motor

Gary, The G-144 Harvestor, used the overhead valve 206J. about the same as a 445 engine, except for combines.

    M Combine colors.

The 5297 was the same as the Cockshutt 555, & Oliver 5555. The 7600 & 7800 were newer, all brands used same numbers. These were replaced by the White 8600/8800. I have seen three 5297's in MN & Dakotas, one Yellow, two were red. I have seen BOTH MM 7600 & 7800's, both were red. I've...

I'm always looking for MM & TC Manuals that I don't yet have to aid in the MM Product History book project. Let me know what you have. ~ Martin

    Moline Factory?

I've seen that before. As a kid raised on a farm with Moline's, and a RR Engineer, that is an all around awesome vintage movie!
