    Hmm, well I never thought about that. We put a new engine in it last year, I can't remember what that looked like. Any way i'll have to pull hydrostat off. Damn, I was hoping there's a pin type dowel inside the hydrostat that fails, or even something easier. When your spline failed were you able...

    no troubles with hydraulics, that's separate. hydraulic pump mounted on rear of engine, hydrostat runs wheels and pto. Engine runs fine

    Anyone had any issues with the hydrostat on the Versatile 256 Bi-directional? Blowing snow today and every quit, like a shear pin broke. Unfortunately it wasn't that easy. Tractor wont move, PTO wont turn, tried to pull it back to shop and all 4 tires locked up. I guess I'm pulling the...
