    Lift Stay Chain Length

That's what I was thinking also but didn't know if the chains act as a 'stop' so that nothing is pulled apart in the lift mechanism at maximum lift. Will give that a try tomorrow. Thanks.

    Lift Stay Chain Length

Ford 2000; 3-cyl diesel; 8 speed trans.....I was trying to lift an implement into a guy's pickup truck and the lift arms didn't seem to go as high as they could. I noticed that the two short stay chains inside the lift arms were stretched straight and tight. Is it feasible to get some additions...

Sharpening steel for butcher knifes but I use mine to fine hone my pocket knife also. Puts a razor edge on all three blades.

    What's this part?

Ford 2000; 3 cyl. gas; 4/1 Trans....At some time in the past a previous owner bored holes in the dash and installed the three gauges shown in the attached pic. The original dashboard gauge was abandoned. I want to sell the tractor so am in the process of replacing the existing three gauges...

    Any leather workers here?

I have a black leather holster that had similar mildew. I washed it with soap and water and bought a small mister in which I'm gonna mix tea tree oil and water. Then will spray the holster with that mix. The tea tree oil mix is supposed to kill the root mildew. We'll see. As a kid I had a...

    Never-Seize vs Anti Seez

Ford 2000; 3 cyl. diesel; 8/2 Trans. I just used some silver anti-sized on some scrape blade plow bolts and my hands look like the tin man. That stuff gets onto everything. But, it sure works well.

    EMail hack on my IMAC?

Want to know what OS you are running? Click once on the Apple logo in upper left corner and then on 'about this mac' and up will pop a window that tells you the OS name and number, version and other information about your machine. I don't use the factory 'Mail' but have in the past. Love my...

    Tractor Wreck

Sorry to hear about your wreck but it was interesting to see what's under the skin of your arm. A while back I cut the very tip of a thumb off on my table saw and was startled to see that the muscle or whatever it is that was exposed looked a lot like a sponge. Very little blood and little pain...
