    Ferguson TO35- starting issue

Found the problem today and fixed it. The ammeter had power to one side, but was not flowing current out, disabling the ignition switch. Running like a dream again, thank you folks for the help.

    Ferguson TO35- starting issue

I used a test light to check my connections. The ground is good and power is getting to the solenoid. When I engage the ignition and starter button, no power makes it from the starter button to the solenoid and there is, of course, no power from the solenoid to the starter. The ignition key...

    Ferguson TO35- starting issue

Good day, folks! I have a 58 TO35, Z134 gas. Last week I went to start it and it cranked for 1/2 second, then nothing. No clicks, no response whatsoever. The next day, it cranked another half second, but then zero response and nothing on the thousand tries since. I've done the following so...

    To35 metal in oil

I've had this 58 TO35 for about 2 weeks. It has its quirks, one of which I've posted about, but it starts right up every time and runs well. I had to start with the positive. Now to my question. I changed the engine oil recently and found a significant amount of what looked like flakes of...

    58 TO35 3 point issue

Good evening! Thank you for looking. I just bought a 1958 TO35. The 3 point hitch moves slowly up and shudders all the way going up, but is smooth and fast with weight going down. It holds weight on the way up and doesn't creep (at least my 190 lbs). The dipstick behind the right foot is...
