Just finished the front end of an 8n, first time, replace blown head gasket and refinished the rest with new parts, includes 6v to 12 volt conversion, new intake/exhuast manifold, new radiator, plugs, wires, ext. No spark
ok still no spark. I was cutting with brush hog one hour maybe, Old thing just quit. Pulled a wire and gee no spark. Towed it back from the field and decided to go all out. ok so i broke down and pulled the dstributor. Not hard at all i took it into the house and looked, The points where not opening at all. They looked good bit i cleaned them out any way. Applied the proper gap and put new condensor in. Put the whole works back together and guess what still no...- mark luce

thick hyd oil in cold weather
1936 ford 2n Wanted to know if there is an oil dipstick heater available to heat the hyd. oil. My tractor starts fine in cold weather BUT The hyd unit wont operate till the tractor has run and the oil has thinned from the engine and trans being warmed up. 2n coil
I lost the key to my tractor and bypassed the key switch. The tractor sat for about two hours without running. The coil was hot as hell. Needless to say it wouldnt start and I had to tow it outta the field. Now I have no spark to the plugs. Do you think I fried the coil or is this just a freak...- mark luce

46 2N oil leak and 3 point lift
My newly puchased 46 2N has an oil leak(well) one bad one...lol.. seems to be leaking from a seal around the govenor. You think a sealant like Right stuff would work?
